Standard toilet blocks and Accessibility toilets are located along the southern perimeter Franklin Street end of Barwon Park.

Please limit use of Accessibility toilets to those who need them.

Please flush toilets after use, wash your hands and don’t waste toilet paper. Extra toilet paper is available at the Volunteers/Candle tent. Please notify if replenishing is needed.

There is no reserved seating section the event is entirely free to patrons and is lawn seating only.
Patrons are encouraged to bring picnic rugs and seating such as deck/camping chairs with low legs.

Preserving the Parklands

Please respect the beautiful environment of Barwon Park whilst you are enjoying Carols.
Randwick City Council provide rubbish bins. Please use the bins as the final clean-up is done by volunteers …

Public Amenities

Lost property can be handed in to the Information / Candles Booth western side of the park.
All Lost Property will remain onsite until 10:00 pm and then taken to Matraville RSL the next day.

Volunteers and Candles

Matraville Carols in the Park is staffed by local volunteers. If you would like to volunteer as an organiser, worker or performer please make contact at the Candle tent on the night for future events or use the contact form via the website.

The only Candle sales and lighting sales permitted on the night is from the Volunteer tent. This is a major source of fund raising for the event.
